NB to empower artisans in Oyo through ‘Isedowo’

Nigerian Breweries Plc, NB, makers of Goldberg lager beer, said it is taking its ‘Isedowo’ campaign to Oyo State to empower successful artisans with grants of N300,000 each to grow their business.

‘Isedowo’ is an interventionist scheme where participants are expected to showcase their business ideas and how it will impact the society.

The scheme is part of the Goldberg brand affinity with the people of the Southwest beyond culture and tradition. 100 artisans across the South Western region will benefit from the scheme.

Portfolio Manager, Mainstream Lager and Stout brands, NB, Mr. Emmanuel Agu, said that through ‘Isedowo’, Goldberg has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to improving the businesses of artisans in the South-West, as finance for investment and expansion has been a major challenge to most of them.

“‘Isedowo’ has also reduced the rate of unemployment in the region as the grants have led to job and wealth creation in the region,” Agu stated.
